UK charity sets-up medical camp for Rohingya refugees

News provided by Minhaj Welfare Foundation on Thursday 26th Oct 2017

Faisal Hussain from Manchester embarked on a life-changing journey to Bangladesh to visit the refugee camps around the Cox's Bazaar region where there are in excess of 600,000 Rohingya refugees.

Every refugee that Faisal or our team members spoke to came back with the same horrific stories of murder, torture and destruction of homes and crops.

As we speak the Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) team is on the ground providing much needed aid and basic living arrangements such as the installation of water pumps, shelter and medical assistance.

MWF has established a make-shift medical camp where tens of thousands of patients are being cared for on a daily basis.
