Those who have attended Parklife in the past will already be aware that Parklife Weekender have never provided camping. Event Campsites are now offering a safe and comfortable weekend stay for revellers attending the festival during the weekend of 10-13 June. Event Campsites are the only campsite organisers for Parklife Festival and offer a secure campsite, adjacent to Heaton Park – a few minutes’ walk away from the festival itself.
There are more than 40 acres of beautiful countryside parkland there, which can hold approx. 5,000 pitches. 10,000 campers are expected for this event and numbers are rising each day. Premium facilities on offer include: onsite food, cooked fresh and served piping hot, luxury showers and toilets, safe and secure car parking, superb breakfasts, secure storage lockers and phone charging battery packs so you can keep in touch with what’s going on via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.
Despite the negative issues put forward when Event Campsites were featured in MEN News, pitches at the campsite have been selling fast and currently there is limited availability. Managing Director of Events Campsite, Mr. Buksh, was swift to refute Parklife’s founder, Sacha Lord-Marchionne’s claims, that Events Campsites ‘could cause mayhem’ to Parklife’s revellers by stating, ‘We are offering a legitimate service to people going to Parklife.’ Facilities include pre-pitch tents, pitch only and campervan spaces and are selling fast, so if you’re planning on booking, you need to do it quickly while there are still camping spaces left.
For those concerned about returning to the campsite after dark, Event Campsites’ Mr. Buksh, further stated: ‘A security firm will be on site throughout the festival and clients will be advised to walk along a lit pathway by Simister Lane to access the campsite at night. We have already taken a lot of bookings from those who are aware of how important it is to feel safe and secure at these kinds of events. We are also offering a service for those who have never been to a festival before, (because they have been concerned about conditions or facilities,) and they’ve already told us they’re excited about attending.’
The campsite is open from Friday 10th June 6pm to Monday 13th June 12pm and you can book now
, while spaces are still available.
