BEN PEEL AND APRIL PEARSON PRESENT THEIR NEW FILM IN LONDON TODAY APRIL 14TH AT 7PM

Due to the high attendance on last Thursday's screening, Great Expectations Films has decided to show its film one more time today at 7pm at the Warner Brothers Sound in Soho. Please see below for details and invites.


Great Expectations Films presents the London Premiere of The Engagement, a romantic comedy about the difficulty of making marital commitment, written and directed by filmmaker Greg Zinger.

“We had a great time making The Engagement and we are very happy with the results. Now it’s time for the premiere of the film in London”, Greg Zinger explained on an interview.

Starring Christian McKay (Richard Linklater's Me and Orson Welles), Ben Peel (Steve McQueen's Hunger; Vampire Academy 2014), and April Pearson (the British hit series Skins); produced by Corinne Weber (Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu's Babel, Sam Mendes‘ Revolutionary Road) and Timothy Burrill (Roman Polanski's The Pianist; Olivier Dahan's La Vie en Rose).

The premiere of The Engagement will take place today April 14th from 7pm at the Warner Brothers screening room in Soho (De Lane Lea), 75 Dean St, London W1D 3PU.

About Greg Zinger (Writer and Director)

Greg Zinger is a writer and director from San Francisco, known for The Chair (2007), Peter Gets Dumped (2011) and The Last Man (2004).

Greg’s love for the city of London and its vibrant artistic scene has lead him to direct The Engagement in several locations of the English capital, like Coven Garden, Gloucester Road, Soho and South Kensington. The film was edited and mixed in San Francisco at Francis Ford Coppola’s ZAP Zoetrope Aubry Productions, where it had its first technical screening.

About Ben Peel and April Person (main characters)

Ben Peel is an actor originally from Belfast; best known for his role in the award-winning Hunger (2008), Vampire Academy (2014), United (2011) and Doctors (TV Series 2010).

April Pearson is an English actress best known for her role as Michelle Richardson in the E4 teen drama series, Skins.

Currently in pre-production, The Seasons is a comedy-drama that parallels romantic relationships with the seasons of the year. The film is comprised of four separate but related stories that reflect the comically complex nature of relationships between the sexes. Each story is set in a different era of the 20th century, but the action takes place in the same manor in the countryside.
