Vince a holistic Vet with 30 years experience is like a dog with two tails following the recent launch of a revolutionary new range of natural pet supplements for dogs and cats.
Following a career break in 2007 to care for his Mum full time Vince has now returned to his roots.
He said, "After my Mum passed away, I decided to get back to doing what I love most and that's helping pets become fit and healthy. I'm a fully qualified vet with a special expertise in a wide range of complementary therapies which I've studied both in the UK and abroad, including acupuncture and homoeopathy.
The supplements market is booming as more and more people recognise the benefits of adding certain health-promoting nutrients to their diet each day. This inspired me to create similar products for our pets. It's been a long hard 12 months since we first started but I couldn't be happier now that we are up and running online, with lots of great products to offer to people who love their pets and want to help keep them as healthy as they possibly can."
Vince graduated as a veterinary surgeon from Liverpool University in 1983 after he was inspired to help animals following the death of his first cat Tina at the age of six.
After qualifying, he worked for The People's Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) before setting up his own practice in Stockport. Vince then started to build up his skills in complementary therapies, which he was then able to use with success in his clinic.
Vince's products include a range of supplements for dogs and another for cats and they contain only 100% premium quality, pure, natural ingredients, and a number of the products are completely organic.
"Our products are unique, because they now make it easy for every pet owner to successfully use the finest quality natural supplements to promote health, in five of the most important areas of their dogs and cats lives. What is more, they can do this safe in the knowledge that they are using formulations which have been developed by a Vet with 30 years expertise helping thousands of pets just like theirs."
Vince has been helped in his new venture by The Prince's Initiative for Mature Enterprise (PRIME), now a part of Business in the Community.
At a recent awards ceremony Bob Warman, a television presenter at ITV Central, presented Vince with a certificate and said: "Vince is a perfect example of how PRIME can kick-start a new venture, using his vast knowledge to embark on a new path. Hopefully his experience will inspire others to take the plunge."
