The Devonshire Arms Hotel & Spa in Yorkshire are delighted to be hosting a special Food and Wine Week from Monday 1st December - Sunday 7th December, showcasing the culinary talents of some of Yorkshire's most talented and inspiring chefs.

Monday 1st December: Take 5 chefs!

The Food and Wine week will kick off with a gourmet evening celebrating five of the best chefs in Yorkshire. Head chef Adam Smith will welcome Andrew Pern, Chef/Director of The Star Inn, James Mackenzie of The Pipe & Glass, Stephanie Moon from Rudding Park and Tim Bilton of The Spiced Pear to each cook a course for this special four course tasting menu. The event will commence at 7pm and tickets cost £75 per person, optional wines to complement the dishes can be selected by the cellar master for an additional £45 per person.

Tuesday 2nd December: War of the Roses lunch – Adam Smith v. Nigel Haworth

The "War of the Roses" lunch will take place on Tuesday 2nd December, when Nigel Haworth from the highly acclaimed Northcote will be cooking up a storm against Adam Smith. Enjoy a superb lunch and a fabulous dining experience priced at just £49.50.

Tuesday 2nd December at 7pm: Lee Bennet from Crafthouse Dinner

At 7pm on Tuesday 2nd December, Lee Bennet from Crafthouse Restaurant in Leeds will be showcasing his six course tasting menu at The Dev costing £65. Head chef Adam Smith and Lee Bennet will each create three dishes and wow discerning diners with their delicious menus. A wine flight will also be available, carefully chosen by cellar master Nigel Fairclough.

Wednesday 3rd December 7pm: Laurent Perrier Dinner

Following the success of the first Laurent Perrier Dinner at the Devonshire Arms Bolton Abbey, the popular dining event returns by popular demand on Wednesday 3rd December, costing just £95 including seasonal taster menu and Champagne. Another opportunity to enjoy a delightful evening of food by Adam Smith and carefully matched Laurent Perrier Champagne by host Stuart Birtles.

Thursday 4th December: Mark Birchall - A Taste of L'enclume

Chef Mark Birchall from the award-winning Michelin Starred restaurant in Cartmel will deliver a culinary treat during his fresh and exciting seasonally-foraged menu. Guaranteed to be a spectacular food event, with tickets costing just £95. L'enclume is number 1 ranked restaurant in the UK in the Good Food Guide.

Friday 5th December: Honley Male Voice Choir

Enjoy a festively-themed evening of Christmas carols and wonderful musical scores from the Honley Male Voice Choir at the Devonshire Arms this December. A fun and festive treat for everyone to kick off the Christmas season in style.

Saturday 6th December 7pm: Adam Smith – A Taste of Delights

Adam will conjure up a truly spectacular feast using the finest ingredients from the surrounding areas of the Yorkshire Dales. Guaranteed to be one of the finest and most unique food events of the festive season, with tickets costing just £75 for a tasting menu.

Sunday 7th of December, 7pm. Joe Fattorini - Bebendum Wines
Tickets £95.

On the final night of the Food & Wine Week, wine specialist Joe Fattorini will be hosting an evening of glorious wines, accompanied by a tasting menu from Adam Smith. Joe's passion and knowledge will guarantee a truly memorable finish to a week of culinary delights.
