Spice 2 Go Heat Things Up Following Dragons Den Pitch

Monday 28 July, 2014

Have you ever tried to slay a Dragon? We did, and what an experience it was!

We have always been intrigued by the idea of facing the terrifying Dragons of the BBC, wondering if it really is as scary as it looks.

Well, we finally have the answer. It is quite petrifying.

Our CEO, Tej Randeva, featured on Dragons’ Den on Sunday 27th July, pitching for £75,000 for a 10% stake in the food franchise model, Spice 2 Go.

Although unsuccessful in securing an investment from the business moguls the whole experience was a real eye-opener, illustrating what changes have to be made to see Spice 2 Go evolve into a household brand.

With the ammunition of his vibrant Bhangra dancers Tej ensured the Dragon’s and the rest of the world knew what Spice 2 Go stood for - strong brand identity, a love for Indian food and a passion for business growth.

His pitch was the greatest celebration of Indian culture that the den had ever seen and we at Spice 2 Go are very proud for facing up to the notorious Dragons.

Having put on such a dramatic and passionate performance Tej will be remembered for the frosty reception he received from millionairess Debra Meaden. With crossed words and the exchange of shilling glares the Tej Vs Debra feud was the focus of the 10-minute pitch.

The formidable businesswoman lived up to expectations, sniped down by Peter Jones in support of our curry franchise.

Praised for his approach to branding design extraordinaire Kelly Hoppen commended Tej on the business image he had created, admiring the Spice 2 Go character.

With Indian food loved by the entirety of the UK’s population a curry franchise model just makes sense!

Following Tej’s exit from the den the whole Spice 2 Go team united, creating a food force to be reckoned with!

Armed with designers, developers, food technicians and many other professionals Spice 2 Go is now stronger than ever, ready to fight back against the Dragon’s fiery words.

With plans to dominate the curry market there is nothing that will get in the way of our mission.

Tej as a businessman is renowned for spotting gaps in the market and filling them with innovative business ideas. Having conquered in a number of different industries such as insurance, luxury transport and web design it is now time for him to succeed in the food industry!

We at Spice 2 Go are now actively seeking investors, wanting like-minded individuals who share our love for authentic food to join the team.

While the Dragon’s did not understand the potential Spice 2 Go has, there is still room for investors to come on board with this unique venture.

If you have an appetite for business success contact us today and discuss how you can be a part of Spice 2 Go.

It is untrue that too many cooks spoil the broth. In our opinion, the more cooks the better the curry!
