NH Hotel Group Brings 6 Michelin Stars to Madrid!

Michelin-starred chef Grant Achatz opens restaurant at NH Collection Eurobuilding

NH Hotel Group is expanding its collection of Michelin-starred restaurants with the upcoming arrival of acclaimed chef Grant Achatz's restaurant, Alinea Madrid. The fine dining establishment will join a star-studded line-up at NH Collection Eurobuilding in Madrid - increasing the hotel's collective accolades to 6 Michelin stars!

The American chef and restauranteur Grant Achatz, awarded 3 Michelin stars, will move his coveted Alinea restaurant from Chicago to Madrid for a four-week period early next year. From 12th January to 6th February 2016, it will be located in the space currently occupied by the VIP dining room at NH Collection Eurobuilding, the flagship hotel of the upmarket NH Collection brand, imitating the look and feel of the Chicago restaurant.

This exciting move will mark the first time an international, 3 Michelin starred chef will transfer his whole team to another continent. The Chicago restaurant will close for four weeks when the creative chef and 45 team members relocate to Spain's capital city to create innovative and modernist cuisine for which the restaurant is famed.

Reflecting NH Hotel Group's ongoing commitment to haute cuisine, the newly-refurbished NH Collection Eurobuilding serves up an extraordinary array of gastronomic choices which includes DiverXO, the brainchild of innovative chef David Muñoz and Madrid's only restaurant with 3 Michelin stars. Combining forces with Alinea, these two renowned restaurants will result in NH Hotel Group offering a total of 6 Michelin stars within a single hotel.
