Chartered Valuation Surveyors myleasehold ltd announce the launch of a new website application called Graphs of Relativity, which is targeted to valuation specialists, and professionals in the Leasehold Reform sector.
A valuation tool for residential leasehold property, the site calculates the unexpired term of a lease, or uses an already known unexpired term, and then calculates and tabulates the relativity with reference to published graph data, namely the 2009 RICS Research Report. It offers a PDF and print function, so that the application can be used on a case-by-case basis. There is also the facility to enter a property address for further case referencing.
Users of the site have commented that it is “extremely useful”, “a time-saver”, “a great-looking tool” and “a valuable resource”, because it provides graphical data which has never before been digitised and was previously only available in paper format. This means it is now easier than ever to assess and calculate relativity based on graphical evidence.
Mark Wilson, managing director of myleasehold, says, “We have developed our website Graphs of Relativity as a resource for Valuation Surveyors, and hope they find it useful. We invite comments, suggestions and feedback from users as we intend to continue to develop and improve the application.”
