Mit Kotak Promoted to Director of Professional Valuations at Chestertons

Chestertons congratulate Mit Kotak who, following his dedication and passion for the business, has been promoted to Director of Professional Valuations alongside Eric Shapiro. Mit will be managing a team of four, guiding five graduates through their APC training and continuing to advise clients, including FTSE 100 and 250 listed companies, on lease extensions and collective enfranchisement valuations.

Jointly heading the valuations division is a great step in my career, allowing me to pass on my knowledge to the team and help grow the department."

Since joining Chestertons in 2007, Mit has carried out over 1,500 lease extensions and collective enfranchisement valuations. He has prepared expert reports and has given evidence at the First Tier Tribunal and also specialises in other professional residential valuations including CGT, ATED, IHT and matrimonial. One of Mit's future goals is to further qualify as an Arbitrator and do more expert work.
