Mark Taylor appointed Pickfords Managing Director

Pickfords names Mark Taylor as new Managing Director of its operating company Pickfords Move Management Ltd

Mark Taylor has been named as the new Managing Director of Pickfords Move Management Ltd, the operating company of leading UK removals firm Pickfords, headquartered in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, and whose roots stretch back to the middle of the seventeenth century.

As Managing Director, Mark will take on the mantle of driving business performance and quality across all of the divisions of the company, which covers every single postcode across the UK and Ireland.

Mark has been an employee of Pickfords for more than three decades in a number of different strategic roles, including those of regional director and network director, and so he has extensive knowledge of the UK removals and storage industry, in which the firm is such a key player.

In 2014, he was given the role of main board Director with overall responsibility for the company’s home removals business UK-wide.

More recently, in 2017, he led an award-winning apprenticeship programme at Pickfords, leading to the company’s making of the Centrica Top 100 Employers List.

While doing this, he championed Investors in People and focused firmly on staff development. His recent focus on quality initiatives has led to consistent five-star feedback reviews from customers on the Trustpilot review site.
