The countdown for the prestigious Guild Awards of Excellence has started. Created to recognise top beauty wholesalers in the UK, the deadline for nominations is Wednesday 22nd January 2014. If you are a beauty professional, don't forget to submit your nomination online in the next couple of days.
“The Guild Awards of Excellence are different to many industry awards”, says a representative from Salon Services. And the truth is that because votes are solely submitted by beauty professionals and not judged by a panel, the results are completely impartial and reflect the industry's feelings towards the best beauty suppliers in the UK.
“For this reason, to be recognised by the Beauty Guild is an honour. The nominations alone motivate us to keep up the good work and remain at the top of our class”, says Simon Rowlands, Marketing Controller at Salon Services.
Salon Services received nominations in two categories at the Guild Awards of Excellence 2013, and celebrated a win for their Furniture and Equipment range. Rowlands adds “winning this award was the icing on the cake for us, and we were really pleased that our first class selection of beauty equipment and furniture was selected as the very best for 2013. We hope to be nominated again for our efforts in 2014 since our team works hard to make life easier for beauty salons.”
This year, the Beauty Guild will announce winners in 12 categories, including a new award for Best Lash Supplier. Other prizes will be for Best Customer Service, Best Web Services and Best Wholesaler. Beauty therapists, nail technicians and industry professionals can either use the following link or send an email to louisa@beautyguild.com to submit their votes.
Any industry professional can nominate companies in as many categories as they want, although only one company can be nominated per category. So if you have a company in mind that deserves to be recognised for excellence, cast your vote today.
