SocialBox.Biz, is a London-based community interest venture that re-homes old, donated computers with people in accommodation services, including homeless individuals, young people in the care system, refugees, and the elderly.

Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, supporting over 10,000 young people each year, and the SocialBox.Biz team is proud to be aligned with this mission. Sultan, who came to Centrepoint ahead of his upcoming 18th birthday, is dedicated to forging a bright future for himself. We recently donated a laptop that he’s been using in his endeavour.

Not only is he taking classes, including free courses such as BBC Bitesize and My Maths, but he intends to use his laptop to find apprenticeships, finish his ESOL, and become a mechanical engineer.

“This can help me be more independent because everything is online,” said Sultan.

Sultan is just one of countless people who walk into Centrepoint looking for help getting back onto their feet. Social Box Biz is honored to be a part of this journey and provide tech that is being leveraged for amazing purposes!
