News provided by The Sick Children's Trust on Friday 11th Aug 2017

The Sick Children’s Trust is pleased to announce that its sixth ‘All Out For Cricket in The City’ event will be taking place on Monday 4 September, 2017. The day’s event is hosted at the stunning Honourable Artillery Company Grounds, right in the heart of the City of London. All funds raised from the day go to supporting the charity, which supports families with seriously ill children in hospital with free ‘Home from Home’ accommodation. The Sick Children’s Trust still has space for one more team at a cost of £5,000 to enter. Your entry will include a team of seven players to compete in the tournament, a complimentary table of up to ten guests at the evening gala, company logo displayed on cricket shirts, five additional entry-only ground packages and promotion in the evening programme and on the charity’s website. To enter your team, contact hannah@sickchildrenstrust.org or call 020 7011 9360.

6 years, 6 teams, 6 overs, 6 balls

The event, which is billed as London’s premier (and only) T6 cricket tournament, will see six teams from across the City of London compete over the course of one day. Each team will feature a star player selected by a ballot. This year’s star players include Mark Ramprakash, MBE, Matthew Hoggard, MBE and Alex Tudor.

Live pitch-side commentary this year is provided by Guerilla Cricket and all-time cricket legend Henry Blofeld, affectionately known as ‘Blowers’. Henry Blofeld, an English sports journalist, is known worldwide for his extensive cricket commentary career on both television and radio. This event is one of the last where you will hear his dulcet tones as he has announced his retirement from the media world in September 2017, just 3 days after our event.

Tickets

Guests should expect a full day’s entertainment with several options from which to choose:

The ‘All Out for 95’ ticket includes unlimited drinks, an afternoon BBQ and cream tea, as well as pitch-side access and Blowers’ live commentary.

The ‘200 Not Out’ ticket includes the daytime event, plus a champagne reception, gala dinner, evening auctions and an audience with Henry Blofeld.

There are also £20 entry only tickets for cricket fans who just want to come and watch the action.
