A national heart charity will be entertaining Virgin train passengers with Christmas carols during their journey from Birmingham to London on Saturday 19th December.
Little Hearts Matter support families when a child has been diagnosed with half a working heart and this Christmas they've teamed up with Virgin Trains' to deliver some festive joy.
The carol singers on the Birmingham to London train journey will be tasked with the mission of putting smiles on the faces of passengers and raising awareness for Little Hearts Matter. Once the train arrives at London Euston train station at 1pm, Little Hearts Matter will be treating spectators to more entertainment, including a special surprise treat!
Suzie Hutchinson, Chief Executive at Little Hearts Matter said: “We are so excited to be bringing LHM to Euston station on the 19th of December. What a great opportunity to raise awareness and much needed funds at this important London station.
“Living with only half a heart can be scary at times for the children, and their mums and dads. Christmas can be a fantastic or a challenging time for LHM families so it is very kind of Virgin trains to host many of our families at the station on the day. We promise to be in good voice for the carol singing and we have a great surprise up our sleeves at about 1.15pm.”
