From lost at Alton Towers aged 4 to New Personal GPS Locating Service in Europe

One of my earliest memories was getting lost at Alton Towers aged 4 (ish). Looking back it is still one of the most frightening things that has ever happened to me as I couldn't find my family, I wasn't meant to talk to strangers and I was a small girl in a busy, loud and unfamiliar place. Eventually I was found after a member of staff approached me but it still took a long time to reunite me with my family. My parents felt awful (it really wasn't their fault I did one!), my Mum and Dad described the first minute of my disappearance as slight worry “she couldn't have gotten far”, the next minute panic set in and the third minute was serious fear and tears...and my three older brothers were very unhappy about not getting on any further rides.
This experience has spurred me on to create and launch TeeCake Location Services using technology to ensure a lost child doesn't remain lost for long and to give parents greater peace of mind when they can’t be with their children. Our service is also ideal for locating people, pets, luggage and stuff.
