Expat Explore opens South American tours to the global market

News provided by Expat Explore Travel on Monday 20th May 2019

May 20th, London, United Kingdom - Expat Explore is a top tour operator and has been conducting organised group tours since 2005. Expat Explore has grown from 200 passengers in 2005, to over 15,000 passengers per annum in 2019. They now offer over 60 guaranteed-departure tour packages to destinations across Europe, the UK, Turkey, Greece, Croatia, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, South Africa and the USA. The company has always focused on delivering quality, affordable tours that offer excellent value for money

Co-founders Carl Cronje and Jakes Maritz have recently announced that Expat Explore is adding yet another continent to its list of travel destinations with 15 brand new South America tours departing early next year.

This is Expat Explore’s biggest project ever. I took out time to explore the destinations myself and connect the routes of our tours. The tours will use different types of transport - coaches, trains, planes, boats and jeeps. We had to break the Expat Explore mould a bit, but we’ve done everything we can to make it possible for our followers to explore South America on a budget,” said co-founder, Carl Cronje.

The first tour is scheduled to depart from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in January 2020. The company’s fixed-number South American tours will also be the first of its kind to offer guaranteed departures and an itinerary tailored specifically to smaller groups (40 max) from abroad. Given the large variety of destinations in South America, the tours cover an impressive amount of activities and regions in anything from 10 to 53 days.

The tours are designed by our in-house experts and will be of the same high quality as all our tours. Our team will spend the rest of 2019 to get everything ready for the brand new tours departing next year. I haven’t been this excited about discovering a new continent for a very long time. In fact, I never really thought I’d have the privilege to explore new grounds in South America. People have no idea how diverse this continent actually is!” Jakes said.

Given the size of South America and the number of destinations to cover, the tour packages will focus on making the most of your time while in each destination. In total, the tours will explore 6 countries. Like all other Expat Explore tour packages, the South America itineraries have been designed to include accommodation, transport, local guided experiences and some meals throughout the tour. All tours include the services of an expert Expat Explore tour leader.

One of our main objectives will always be to offer affordable, value-for-money tour packages that include authentic travel experiences,” Carl emphasized.

Expat Explore’s first South America tours will depart from Buenos Aires, Bogota, Rio de Janeiro and Santiago in January 2020. For more information, visit our website and social media platforms:
