THE MEMORY TEAM - TUESDAY 15TH DECEMBER 10PM - UK PREMIERE

Nearly 50 million people in the world have dementia and this is set to triple in the next 35 years.

With a new case every 3.2 seconds, Jessica and Felicity are young filmmakers attempting to capture the memories of people living with dementia before they are lost forever. Together, they are The Memory Team - working for charity My Life Films to produce films for people living with dementia.

In this poignant and emotional series, each episode will bring a new case and a new life story to capture on film before it's too late. They'll meet people who have taken part in some of the most important moments in our history and are challenged by the effects of dementia.

The series will tell the stories of people who have broken world records, stood in controversial elections and fought in wars. As well as exploring the impact dementia has on partners, family and friends, the films are used as a tool to bring people together and celebrate the lives of their loved ones.

LAST FAN STANDING - WEDNESDAY 9TH DECEMBER 10PM - UK PREMIERE

We'll find out everything, and more, in Last Fan Standing.

From bodybuilders to Bollywood dancers, from Prince William lookalikes to wrestling enthusiasts, this series will let contestants with wildly contrasting hobbies experience each other's worlds. There can only be one last fan standing…but who will it be?

LONDON360 - SERIES 9 FINALE - MONDAY 21ST DECEMBER 7PM - UK PREMIERE

As we reach the conclusion of London360's ninth series, we'll be waving goodbye in style for this finale episode. Over the course of 10 episodes, the UK's premiere youth-led London series has brought you their unique take on the capital; championing untold local stories, finding London's hidden communities, celebrating compelling community-based campaigns, and following the latest entertainment news.

Be sure to tune in for your last chance to find out what's going on across the capital, before it takes a break.

THE SOFA SURVIVOR STORY - MONDAY 14TH DECEMBER 10PM - UK PREMIERE

We throw out a staggering 1.6 million tonnes of furniture and bulky waste every year in the UK. Most of it ends up buried in landfill or burnt in an incinerator. Conserving and reusing the furniture would save valuable resources and provide affordable items to local communities. So where are we going wrong?

The Sofa Story follows a small team of designers as they visit a community recycling centre in Surrey where they salvage a sofa destined for landfill. This sofa was originally thrown into landfill as it didn't have a fire label so it couldn't be resold by the furniture re-use charities.

THE WEEKEND MILLIONAIRES - MONDAY 7TH DECEMBER 9PM - UK PREMIERE

An oral history focusing on the Thames Lightermen and Watermen - the people who've worked on the boats on the Thames for hundreds of years.

The profession has employed generations of Londoners with the lightermen carrying cargo and the watermen carrying passengers. Whilst the trade for watermen dwindled with the construction of bridges, the lightermen continued to grow with London's trade up until the 1960s when containerisation and then the closure of London's dockyards led to a decline in the trade.

MAKING WAVES - MONDAY 7TH DECEMBER 10PM - UK PREMIERE

Nearly 40 years after the 1976 Race Relations Act Making Waves documents the life stories of first and second-generation black, British citizens from the African-Caribbean communities.

The film explores and compares the social, cultural and political experiences of the two generations as they attempt to carve a rightful place for themselves in British society. It provides an insight into today's black, British identity and asks whether the 'waves' made by one generation have had a positive impact on the lives of the next.
