8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown is back on primetime Channel 4 this May for more letters and numbers based hilarity.

As ever, Jimmy Carr will host the original comedy and quiz mash up show, with 8 Out Of 10 Cats team captains Sean Lock and Jon Richardson heading up a stellar cast of fresh comedy and showbiz talent.

Numbers Queen Rachel Riley will once again preside over the letters and numbers; whilst Countdown's resident lexicographer Susie Dent holds court in Dictionary Corner. Throughout the series, both will welcome a host of very special guests including Joey Essex, Johnny Vegas, Joe Lycett and Nina Conti.

Guests joining in the Cats Does Countdown comedy and conundrums this series include: Lee Mack, Kathy Burke, Rhod Gilbert, Sara Pascoe and Kevin Bridges.

The series will kick off with guest captain Sarah Millican stepping in for Jon Richardson and guests Bill Bailey, Rob Delaney, Paul Foot and Romesh Ranganathan, with Nina Conti in Dictionary Corner.
