Direct sales and marketing firm Ventas Central reviews the seven key traits outlined by a recent article on Inc.com that mentally strong people possess, which contributes to their success at work.

Ventas Central define mental strength as the constant effort of pushing to be better, whilst maintaining a realistic optimism in setting healthy targets in business and personal spheres of life. Mentally strong people view everyday challenges as opportunities to grow stronger, and they never settle - there is always room for self-improvement (Inc, 2015).

About Ventas Central: http://www.ventascentral.com/about/

The sales and marketing firm believe that being mentally strong in business environments is critical to achieving success, and they agree that people don't often consider how to build that mental muscle while at work.

According to the article, mental strength incorporates the philosophy of understanding how emotions can influence thinking, and Ventas Central agree that balancing emotions with logic is key trait in the decision-making process.

Indeed, the mentally strong don't characteristically indulge in time-wasting activities, feel sorry for themselves, or give away their power. Ventas Central examine the other key attributes of mental strength outlined by the Inc.com article, applied to business and lifestyle:

Embrace change

Making changes can be frightening, but skirting around it prevents business growth. Mentally strong people realise that although change can be uncomfortable, it's tolerable, and instead focus energy on adapting to change rather than resisting it.

Take calculated risks

A lack of knowledge about how to calculate risk leads to increased fear, but there's a risk to not taking a risk – complacency. Again, this prevents business growth, and mentally strong businessmen understand that taking the plunge is necessary from time to time.

Learn from the past and look to the future

Dwelling on the past can be self-destructive, but reflecting on lessons learned and considering facts rather than emotions can be extremely beneficial. Mentally strong people will look at past situations from a new perspective to ensure repeated mistakes are not made.

Stay positive

Feeling sorry for yourself when things don't go how you wanted is self-destructive, wastes time, creates negative emotions, and can hurt business and personal relationships. The goal of the mentally strong is to swap self-pity with gratitude.

Keep raising the bar

Mentally strong people recognise the need for continual personal development despite achieving relative success. Ventas Central believes that it's important to avoid complacency, as there's always someone willing to take your place!

Don't dwell on external factors out of your control

Shifting focus away from events that are uncontrollable will lead to increased happiness, less stress, new opportunities and ultimately more success. Ventas Central argue that mentally strong people are productive because they are able to successfully prioritise, and devote their resources to the things they can control.

Keep your eyes on the bigger picture

Whatever targets and goals in business and life are, stick to them. Mentally strong people make decisions with relative ease if they can understand how they might lead to a final goal, or ultimate aim both in life or business.

Ventas Central were inspired by the article and are looking to promote some of the key traits to their sales reps, in order to drive productivity and further business success in 2016.

<![CDATA[ Customer Service Goes Beyond Sales Reveals Ventas Central ]]> https://pressat.co.uk/releases/customer-service-goes-beyond-sales-reveals-ventas-central-7efe5f3484aa1780325db73ff99ebdde/ https://pressat.co.uk/releases/customer-service-goes-beyond-sales-reveals-ventas-central-7efe5f3484aa1780325db73ff99ebdde/ Friday 23 October, 2015

With more customers turning to their peers and online reviews for guidance when making a purchase decision, traditional marketing techniques are becoming less effective. Therefore Ventas Central are urging businesses to turn their attention to customer service to guarantee a strong sales pipeline.

In today's competitive marketplace, recommendations from trusted peers, online review sites and social media carry far more weight in consumers' eyes than bold brand promises and flashy marketing materials. With so many seemingly similar businesses to choose from, today's customers want instant information and efficient help when making a decision on whether to purchase and this has led the majority to seek out guidance online or through word of mouth. As a consequence many more traditional marketing techniques are failing to have the desired impact on consumers, aside from the fact customers are bombarded with such a high volume of marketing content on a daily basis that it is impossible not to tune it out to some degree. Modern customers simply don't have the trust or patience needed to fully engage with traditional marketing content. Therefore, to avoid investing too heavily in marketing techniques which won't generate an acceptable return, sales and event marketing firm Ventas Central are urging businesses to turn their attention to customer service to ensure word of mouth referrals and online reviews remain high.

About Ventas Central:http://www.ventascentral.com

The firm are keen for businesses to understand that great customer service starts way before any money has changed hands. Customers expect businesses to be actively engaging with them and supporting them from their very first interaction and for the same level of engagement to continue long after they have completed the purchase. To live up to this expectation Ventas Central believes that businesses need to extend their communications further than the odd email or phone. With social media playing such a formidable role in consumers' lives, it's vital for businesses to have a strong online presence and commit to engaging with customers quickly through these platforms. With many customers feeling there are too many barriers standing between them and certain brands, the firm also believe it is important for businesses to get out there and meet with their customers in person. Real, in person communication offers customers a unique opportunity to access immediate support and form an emotional connection with a brand. This also aids businesses in developing their understanding of their target audience, boosting product development and allowing them to stay relevant on the open market.

Meeting with customers face-to-face also allows businesses to work as a unit, rather than a mishmash of departments. Nothing frustrates customers more than being passed from person to person, each more clueless than the next on that customer's situation and each telling them different things. Meeting customers in person drives a business to consolidate their customer service and marketing departments. This ensures that any special offers or discounts advertised by the marketing department are delivered by the customer service representatives, which streamlines the customer experience and increases customer satisfaction.

Ventas Central is a London based sales and event marketing firm. Through face-to-face marketing campaigns the firm act on behalf of brands, meeting with consumers and delivering a personalised, customer focused service. By engaging with customers on-on-one the firm are able to generate greater brand loyalty for their clients and provide them with a far higher return than that produced by more traditional, mass marketing and sales techniques.

Despite the high market saturation and the hugely competitive nature of business in the capital, recent research has suggested London based SMEs are set to experience a lucrative future. London based direct marketing firm, Ventas Central looks at what this means for London based businesses.

Direct sales and marketing specialists Ventas Central have looked into research of the growth prospects of those businesses in London, compared to their Northern counterparts. The gap between London based businesses and those in the North is estimated to more than double over the next 10 years, according to research.

About Ventas Central: http://www.ventascentral.com

London based firms are more optimistic about growth prospects, with those surveyed projecting revenues to increase by an average of 44% in the next ten years. In money terms the estimated growth will see revenue rise from £162,000 to £528,000 by 2025.These sums are twice the expected turnover for small business leaders in the North, according to a study by Everline and the Centre for Economic and Business Research (CEBR).Northern businesses are expecting an average growth of just 33%, a whopping 11% less than those in the capital. In monetary terms, the revenues are expected to rise from £65,000 to £263,000, with most shockingly a 20% of businesses expecting no increase at all.

The most pessimistic about their growth prospects are business decision-makers in the South, but outside London with 24% are predicting zero turn over by 2025.

The average small business in London is anticipating an increase of 33%, £61,000.In The Midlands, businesses are expecting slightly less growth, 31% or £63,000 and in Scotland, 37% or £80,000.The most confident sectors are media, marketing, PR and sales; they are expecting revenues to increase by over 45% which would be a potential turnover of £330,000 in the next ten years.

London is an extremely popular city of thriving small businesses and start-ups for many reasons. Most notably because it is a very diverse market with lots of different cultures and nationalities. The vast opportunities for development, training and mentoring that London offers for business development plays a crucial part in its success. It is a city brimming with entrepreneurs and therefore provides incredible networking opportunities.

CEO Russell Gould of Everline, the company that helped conduct the research, believes that with the average turnover of small businesses in London already more than 80% higher than that of other regions in the UK. Businesses in the capital are set to move further ahead, with revenues forecast to increase by around £162,000 by 2025 compared to the £82,000 increase expected around the country as a whole.

London and its resources are an entrepreneur's dream. The new research is great news for Britain's capital and on the back of this research, Ventas Central believe that it will encourage many more young entrepreneurs to launch their project. There is great confidence and optimism amongst businesses in London and Ventas Central is urging entrepreneurs to capitalise on the growth opportunities and grab a piece of the pie for themselves and become a part of the bright future.

<![CDATA[ Ventas Central Unveils The Most Enterprising Regions ]]> https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-unveils-the-most-enterprising-regions-6936f1eb60c8c637bb23f40acb9d0c81/ https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-unveils-the-most-enterprising-regions-6936f1eb60c8c637bb23f40acb9d0c81/ Wednesday 15 July, 2015

London-based sales and marketing firm, Ventas Central has looked into the most enterprising regions within the United Kingdom.

About Ventas Central : http://www.ventascentral.com/about/

Looking at results from a recent study, Ventas Central were pleased to discover that London has the highest start-up rate in the country. This means that more new businesses start in the capital every year than anywhere else in the country. London was also came out on top for fast growing businesses with 19 per cent of its businesses showing annual employment growth of 20 per cent or more.

However, the firm were shocked to discover that the entrepreneurs who are most likely to reach £1m turnover within three years are based in Northern Ireland. Around 6 per cent of national businesses achieve this, compared with 10 per cent in Ulster, located in Northern Ireland. Ventas Central believe that this is due to the fact that the region has plentiful public funding for business loans and grants, which gives more help to the start-ups trying to achieve this kind of growth.

The study also revealed that poor strategy and management were the biggest barriers that stopped growth, according to the small and medium sized enterprises that were surveyed. Some 53 per cent referred to it as a block, compared with 39 per cent who mentioned lack of skills among the workforce. Access to finance, blamed by 27 per cent, was the fourth biggest barrier. Ventas Central firmly believe that having a good strategy in place, which updates as the market changes and develops is a crucial element in the growth of a business and feels that more firms should ensure they have a good strategy in place.

Ventas Central, a leading direct sales and marketing firm offer their top three tips for professionals looking to prove themselves in their first managerial role.

About Ventas Central: http://www.ventascentral.com/about/

Ventas Central explore the challenges that are presented to new managers in their first role. With many aspects of their existing position changing, Ventas Central offer their easy-to-implement guide to starting off on the right foot as a first time manager.

1. Establish your own leadership style - Leadership styles differ from person to person and each manager needs to establish their own style. To get started on the right foot a manager needs to portray and display the behaviours they wants to cultivate from their team.Lead by example, be the best example to fellow colleagues and it will be easier to demand the same standards.

One common mistake that new managers make is to immediately enact a number of sweeping changes. While it can be tempting to rely on this go-getter mentality, it's often more effective to learn the current processes and logistics before trying to change them. Gather insights from staff members, suppliers and customers before implementing realistic improvements — rather than make changes to make a personal statement.

2. Adjust to altered relationship dynamics – After being promoted within the company, the dynamics of current relationships will soon shift. Some co-workers may now answer to you, and people who were once superiors may now be your peers.

To establish a new relationship with peers it is important to maintain professionalism and integrity.Managers can still be friends with their team, be firm but fair but understand that results achieved are determined by the leadership style.

3. Assume new responsibilities – "Before becoming a manager, you were only responsible for completing your own tasks. Now you must also ensure that your team members are productive," claims Ventas Central.

Be clear on goals, and have an action plan to achieve those. It's not uncommon to feel unsure on how to manage a certain situation or task. Don't be afraid to seek help from other managers in the company. It shows that it is ok to ask for help and assistance and will help create a solid team culture.

When mistakes occur, take the opportunity to teach and correct, rather than criticise. Ventas Central says, "You will quickly earn respect for your expertise, and soon the people reporting to you will trust your leadership implicitly."

Ventas Central is a London based sales and event marketing firm that specialises in creating and implementing engaging direct marketing campaigns. The firm believe that face to face communication can help businesses to improve their customer relationships and as such, meet with customers on behalf of their clients. Through the meaningful customer relationships they develop Ventas Central provides their clients with the means to boost customer acquisition and retention, which widens their market reach and helps to drive a greater quantity of sales.

<![CDATA[ Ventas Central: How Small Businesses Thrive in Economic Recovery ]]> https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-how-small-businesses-thrive-in-economic-recovery-aa9a1290cd0d230d80e2c1f3febcce96/ https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-how-small-businesses-thrive-in-economic-recovery-aa9a1290cd0d230d80e2c1f3febcce96/ Friday 24 October, 2014

Small Businesses still need to be careful when it comes to growth despite improving economic conditions. But direct marketing firm, Ventas Central highlights that these small firms can actually thrive in an economic recovery if they follow certain rules.

Small Businesses can suffer most during times of economic downturn, they often don't have the huge client base needed to survive and starting can be even more difficult as people are uncertain about lending money during these tough times. However, the businesses that do succeed during these situations can aid the economy greatly. Start-ups and small businesses provide an abundant of new job opportunities as well as new products/services that drive consumer spending.

Direct marketing company, Ventas Central, believes that small businesses don't have to just simply survive in an economic recovery; they can thrive if they follow these steps.

Planning, provision and patience

Small businesses that are looking to grow need to ensure that they plan thoroughly in order to be successful. Identification and research of potential requires extra capital, effort and resources. Many businesses are unsure about this even during recovery but if the opportunity has been identified and planned well enough it is likely to succeed. To cover any problems a business owner should ensure there are significant funds available to allow for any potential dips or delays.

Top talent

The best growth opportunities will come from investing in top talent as quickly as possible. Employers should use the less pressured economic climate to bump up their staff base. SMES can consider alternatives to full-time hires, such as interns, freelancers or part timers to cover important tasks if they cannot afford to take on full-time staff. The best people working on a solution, the better the results. But employers must strive to create an environment where those people can thrive and develop as individuals in order to create the best results and ensure growth.

Innovation or business as usual?

To drive growth SMEs need to be doing business better than usual. However, innovation must always be approached with practicality in mind. Pursuing innovation for innovation's sake is not going to help matters. In times of economic recovery it is wise to focus spend on areas that have the highest growth potential and not ideas that sound great on paper but don't actually work.

Perks of being small

Although caution remains surrounding business growth smaller business can use their innate agility to maximum advantage. Embracing flexibility means that business tasks can be completed in less time at a lower cost. SMEs must be more open to networking, outsourcing and exploring new markets and finance options. Being a smaller business means that it can be faster to try new things and easier to unite teams to work towards key goals.

<![CDATA[ Ventas Central: Entrepreneurs need more Support to stop Regrettable Decisions ]]> https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-entrepreneurs-need-more-support-to-stop-regrettable-decisions-3a279559081f22c2af5af5e9b9207821/ https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-entrepreneurs-need-more-support-to-stop-regrettable-decisions-3a279559081f22c2af5af5e9b9207821/ Monday 20 October, 2014

With the news that 25% of entrepreneurs regret becoming their own boss, Ventas Central looks into why some entrepreneurs feel this way and discuss how, if they were receiving more support, this may never have been the case.

A recent survey has revealed that around a quarter of bosses, at small to medium sized enterprises across Britain, regret setting up their own company. Out of the 732 British SME owners surveyed, 25% said they regret becoming their own boss, but 82% said they would still not consider working for someone else. The poll only surveyed companies that had been set up within the last three years. Worryingly, two fifths of these SME owners are already finding themselves in financial trouble and a third said that they simply can't get enough business or customers to survive.

Ventas Central points out that launching a business is always a massive risk, whether it's for the first time or the entrepreneur already has a whole portfolio of successful businesses. Failing doesn't necessarily mean failure, as long as people learn from their mistakes and try again. But Ventas Central says that business owners are not being offered enough support to know how to get it right the first time. Many business owners found that they didn't understand the economy or their market well enough. But others found that they simply had no idea how much to charge for their services or products which put them out of pocket. Ventas Central has found that most business owners, who regret their decision to work for themselves, regret it due to financial errors.

Ventas Central believes that networking and mentoring could be the solution and that more entrepreneurs need to know where they can find support networks and funding so that they enjoy running their business. Networking gives a business owner the opportunity to connect with like-minded business people who may have already been in their position and can offer advice. It also provides a chance to learn new skills that can be implemented within the business. Entrepreneurs should attend as many business conferences, workshops and events as possible to make the most of these networks. This can also provide the business with a good reputation and a list of important contacts that can offer business or advice.

It is important that SME owners receive the support they need because they are crucial to the success of the economy. New businesses provide more job opportunities and raise employment levels. If these businesses fail then several people may be thrown back into unemployment and consumer spending will also suffer.

Ventas Central is an outsourced sales and direct marketing company located in London. The firm run personalised and unique campaigns that successfully market their clients' products/services to improve their customer acquisition, brand awareness and brand loyalty. Ventas Central connects directly with consumers through face-to-face engagement in order to create long-lasting and personalised campaigns. The firm works with several small businesses and provides this service on a 'no win – no fee' basis to guarantee a high ROI and to help their clients' businesses be as successful as possible.

As well as supporting small businesses Ventas Central also run a Business Development Program in order to support aspiring entrepreneurs. The program teaches all those involved with the company the skills needed to run their own business including, sales techniques, decision making and leadership skills. Ventas Central understand the importance of supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs and urge more people to do the same as they are vital for the economy.

<![CDATA[ Ventas Central’s 8 Beliefs that will Improve Resilience ]]> https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-centrals-8-beliefs-that-will-improve-resilience-4ca6a7c6ac5da6a974783609a27badf1/ https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-centrals-8-beliefs-that-will-improve-resilience-4ca6a7c6ac5da6a974783609a27badf1/ Friday 3 October, 2014

It is people’s beliefs about work that makes them stronger or weaker performers. Outsourced sales and marketing firm Ventas Central reveal their top eight beliefs that will encourage entrepreneurs to embrace that much needed ‘can-do-anything’ attitude.

Ventas Central is an outsourced sales and marketing firm located in London. The firm specialises in improving their clients’ customer acquisition, brand loyalty and brand awareness, as well as delivering a high return on investment for their clients. To do this, the firm uses direct marketing techniques such as face-to-face communications with consumers in order to offer a more personalised service and to create long-lasting bonds between the consumer and the clients’ brand. Ventas Central believes in teaching all those that work with them to have a positive attitude, as this is crucial to building good business relationships.

Ventas Central believes that many people focus on things that they cannot control rather than things that they can, such as their own beliefs, their own attitude, their own emotions and their own behaviour. What people believe about work can largely determine how they feel and what actions they take, highlights the firm. The firm states that, by dwelling in the past it can generate emotions that can affect a business in a negative way, whereas positive attitudes and beliefs will impact the business in a good way. This will make the difference between someone being a strong or a weak performer in the business.

Ventas Central reveal their top eight beliefs that will help entrepreneurs perceive their business in a much more positive way and will propel people to handle anything the business world throws at them:

1.“Today’s success can breed tomorrow’s failure if I let success make me complacent about staying motivated and moving forward.”
2.“I learn more from failure than from success. Failure renews my humility, sharpens my objectivity and makes me more resilient.”
3.“Goals that contain the phrase ‘I’ll try’ are self-defeating. If I want goals that truly motivate me, I will use phrases like ‘I will’ and ‘I must’.”
4.“What holds most people back is fear of failure but if I don’t take action, I’ll fail by default, so what have I got to lose?”
5.“What I say reinforces what I think so if something is about to come out of my mouth that doesn’t serve my purpose I should simply keep my mouth shut.”
6.“I am responsible for my own happiness, so when other people are unkind to me, it reminds me to be kind to myself.”
7.“There are five magic words that make even the most difficult business situation easier to handle. Those words are ‘Do not take it personally’.”
8.“While there are situations where strong emotions are appropriate, most business situations are not worth even an ounce of misery.”

Ventas Central encourages all entrepreneurs and business owners to stop and think about these eight beliefs and adopt them as their own beliefs in order to deal with situations in a way that will not negatively impact their business.

<![CDATA[ Ventas Central: New Guide to Improving Word-of-Mouth Referrals ]]> https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-new-guide-to-improving-word-of-mouth-referrals-6cd3d358bb02512beb6eb096f647d561/ https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-new-guide-to-improving-word-of-mouth-referrals-6cd3d358bb02512beb6eb096f647d561/ Tuesday 12 August, 2014

New research claims repeat customers and word-of-mouth referrals accounts for 80% of small businesses’ revenue. Direct marketing specialists Ventas Central offer advice on how to encourage customers to make recommendations to their friends and family.

Customer loyalty matters to any business, Ventas Central explains, loyal customers are easier to up-sell and cross-sell to. Loyal customers are familiar with their favourite brands and this makes them more willing to investigate and try out new products. The probability of selling to an existing customer is 60-70% compared to only a 5-20% probability of selling to a new prospect. It also costs 7 times more to attract new customers than to hold on to returning customers. By concentrating on customer loyalty the brand will have respectively built its own army of free sales people ready to share their experiences and love for the brand through Word Of Mouth referrals. These loyal customers are also valuable for their truthful and quality feedback. Feedback is crucial to improving a brand and having strong relationships with loyal customers will give them the confidence to speak out about where the brand can advance.

Ventas Central is an outsourced sales company located in London. The firm works in partnership with their clients to develop strong sales and marketing campaigns that will help their clients produce maximum market penetration. Ventas Central uses direct marketing methods as it enables them to take the product directly to consumers. Their friendly and vibrant sales force engage in face-to-face interaction with both existing and potential customers. The firm consider this human interaction as the best form of communication as it provides customers with a personalised sales experience that is both unique and enjoyable. This unique sales experience helps to improve customer service and brand loyalty.

Word of mouth is one of the most effective forms of marketing. Potential prospects are much more likely to trust a friend or family member’s recommendation over a phoney advert or marketing scheme. To ensure all brands know how to utilise this form of marketing Ventas Central are offering their top three tips on how to encourage word of mouth recommendations.

Focus on the customer experience The number one priority should be to ensure that customers have a great experience with the brand, no matter what product or service you offer. Customer loyalty, and in turn referrals, will follow from there. Customers who have positive experiences become loyal customers that are more likely to spread word of mouth recommendations.

Offer rewards for referrals Customer loyalty programs are often based on a system of rewards for making purchases. Offering customers an additional incentive for referring a friend is a simple yet effective way to capture the potential word of mouth market. Giving one or both parties a specific discount gives regular customers an incentive to share their knowledge of the brand and their friend the incentive to shop there.

Listen to feedback Brands can sometimes be the victim of today’s instant communication and social media updates, customers are more likely than ever to post about a bad experience with a brand and share it across various networks. Keep a close eye on what customers are saying and respond appropriately. It is crucial to listen to and address customer feedback. A relationship can most-likely be fixed if the right action is taken to rectify their experience or compensate them appropriately.

Ventas Central provides excellent customer service through their face-to-face interaction with consumers which ensures an enjoyable experience for customers. The firm makes a huge amount of quality sales through word of mouth referrals.

<![CDATA[ Ventas Central: Entrepreneurship should be taught in schools ]]> https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-entrepreneurship-should-be-taught-in-schools-31b68705e6276405b8b17b4624fb8821/ https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-entrepreneurship-should-be-taught-in-schools-31b68705e6276405b8b17b4624fb8821/ Wednesday 23 July, 2014

Former Dragon’s Den star, Theo Paphitis, has spoken out to say that too many start-up businesses fail and that entrepreneurship should be a part of the national curriculum. Ventas Central highlight why they agree and think that more needs to be done to teach young entrepreneurs how to succeed.

As much as 50% of small businesses are failing within the first couple of years. Although it is rarely ever just one thing that goes wrong, Ventas Central believes that the common theme for failing entrepreneurs is that they haven’t done their homework. Business is about knowing more than the next person and performing better and the only way to do that is through knowledge.

The firm believe that teaching entrepreneurship in schools would give entrepreneurs this knowledge and would lower the failure rate of UK start-ups. Ventas Central thinks that this generation of young people could be more enterprising than previous generations. TV programmes such as Dragons’ Den and The Apprentice, which are aired at peak viewing times, have raised the profile of entrepreneurship amongst young people and has led to its growing appeal. Young people now see entrepreneurship as a career choice that appeals to them and teaching entrepreneurship in schools could give them the tools to succeed in a career that not only benefits them but also the economy.

Entrepreneurs are good for economic growth as new ideas and new businesses open up several new job opportunities. As well as this, the product or service they offer will either fill a gap in the market or improve on what already exists which encourages people to spend money, also improving the economy. Small businesses also conduct local business and help build communities. Ventas Central says that encouraging these fresh minds into entrepreneurship would be extremely beneficial for the economy and future generations.

Former, Dragon’s Den star, Theo Paphitis, is calling for entrepreneurship to be incorporated into the national curriculum from the age of 11. Direct marketing firm, Ventas central agree with this and point out that if young people were better equipped with enterprise skills, more start-ups would succeed and the impact on the economy would be huge. 50% of the UK’s GDP comes from SMEs and social enterprises. But 50% of small businesses also fail, so if teaching entrepreneurship in schools could improve even just 1% of these start-ups the effect on the UK’s GDP could be enormously positive.

The subject of entrepreneurship would be different to the current curriculum option of business studies or economics as it would be much more practical, it would be taught from a younger age and can be taught to people with average academic abilities.

The firm uses direct marketing methods as it enables them to interact with customers directly. They connect with consumers face to face and consider their human interaction as the best form of communication believing that this makes them more likely to close the deal with potential sales leads.

Ventas Central does its best to encourage young entrepreneurs and teach them the right skills to succeed. The firm run a business development programme that teaches all those involved with their business the right techniques to succeed and progress with their careers, teaching them the right skills to become successful entrepreneurs.

<![CDATA[ Ventas Central Offer Advice on Handling Sales Leads ]]> https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-offer-advice-on-handling-sales-leads-06bc5b622fbcd1fb6655d9233b9f32d5/ https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-offer-advice-on-handling-sales-leads-06bc5b622fbcd1fb6655d9233b9f32d5/ Friday 4 July, 2014

Direct marketing specialists, Ventas Central, have highlighted how all sales must be treated individually. The firm have offered three things to remember in order to turn a sales lead into a loyal customer.

North-London based, Ventas Central point out that sales leads can come from anywhere and have highlighted the fact that the more customer information a business has the better. The more information available, the easier it will be to determine how the customer thinks and how they would like to be treated in order for them to become a loyal customer.

It is extremely important to consolidate and share data between the marketing and customer service departments. No customer wants to be told of one deal by one person and then offered a better deal from the same company after already making a purchase. This leads to customers becoming frustrated with the lack of communication.

Ventas Central is offering three things to remember in order to get the best results from sales leads:

1. It may require several “touches” – Not all respondents will be willing to buy something from a particular brand and so businesses must create a “nurture” programme that ensures all respondents that aren’t immediate leads are not just discarded. Start building a ‘live’ profile of prospects and relevant nurturing material. The lead may come back to the firm with queries about a product or solution – the contact centre will hold this vital data to enable the next ‘touch’ to be relevant.

2.Keep them interested using multiple forms of media – Each customer is different and will prefer different means of communication. Ensure that the business is considering a vast range of media for following up with a customer. This could be: a meeting in person, instant messaging, as well as phone conversations. Ensure to keep the information that reveals their preferred method of communication. If it is email then a phone call might annoy them so ensure this information is being used.

3.Gather the right information and feed this into the CRM – Keep prospect information as up to date as possible. This will make it easier to deliver a more personal experience for potential buyers. If a customer has complained about the product or service they will not want to receive promotional information until after their complaint has been dealt with and they are happy. All of this information should be held within the customer service department.

Ventas Central is a London-based outsourced sales company. They work in partnership with their clients to develop strong sales and marketing campaign that help clients produce maximum market penetration. They use face-to-face promotions to meet with potential and existing customers in person allowing them to present products to them without distractions.

The firm uses direct marketing methods as it enables them to interact with customers directly. They consider their human interaction as the best form of communication and believe that this makes them more likely to close the deal with potential sales leads. By using their direct sales and marketing approach they receive feedback from consumers at the point of sale which allows them to remain one step ahead of market changes. At Ventas Central their aim is to build brand loyalty and retain customers to guarantee long-term growth for their clients’ business.

British economic conditions make headlines again – Ventas Central push back and promote British SME growth and bring to light the increasing demand for outsourced services.

Ventas Central have criticised the recent claims made by Bank of England’s Director Paul Fisher, of which Fisher declared the UK economy is a “long way from normality”. (bbc.co.uk) Ventas Central is an outsourced sales and marketing firm based in London, and have actively attacked claims that express the UK’s economy is weakening. Ventas Central are strong advocates of British SME growth, and stand by their previous declarations that small businesses are the catalyst for Britain’s economic recovery.

Some critics named this year’s economic recovery as “unbalanced and unsustainable”, (londonlovesbusiness.com) however Ventas Central believe the economy is bouncing back as the firm have seen an increasing demand for their outsourced services. Ventas Central is an outsourcing solution that deliver executed promotional programs and strategic sales and marketing campaigns for clients across the UK. Their expertise in the industry helps produce maximum penetration using direct interaction with customers. This year many businesses saw their marketing budgets cut (agencypost.com) and have turned to outsourced marketing agencies like Ventas Central for their cost-effective route into market campaigns which come with a promised ROI. Ventas Central work on a pay-on-results basis, making it excellent value for money for clients looking for an affordable high quality service.

As the stability of the economy has been continuously making headlines, Ventas Central have been testing out their services in a multiple of markets across the UK as potential branches for further expansion. 2013 has been an excellent year for Ventas Central; the London-based firm celebrated an 18 percent revenue increase in the first quarter, offered a new client a ROI of 4.8 percent and projected a number of new customers being generated each week to reach 360-380 within the first eight weeks of launching a new sales campaign in quarter 2.

As the economy changes, customers are influenced by different factors which affect their conscience purchase decisions. It is Ventas Central’s use of direct marketing, and constant interaction with consumers that allows them to stay one step ahead as the market changes. Ventas Central is excited for 2014 as the industry is looking very promising. So despite attacks on the UK’s unstable economy, Ventas Central continue to promote the positives and are proud to set an example for other SME’s that small businesses are still able to thrive regardless of the economic climate.

<![CDATA[ Ventas Central Welcomes Government Support Announced In Autumn Statement ]]> https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-welcomes-government-support-announced-in-autumn-statement-106aa0a9ba301bf30778d5df6fafa21f/ https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-welcomes-government-support-announced-in-autumn-statement-106aa0a9ba301bf30778d5df6fafa21f/ Thursday 12 December, 2013
Ventas Central welcome the outcome of last Thursday’s Autumn Statement. The Chancellor has announced increased support for small businesses through limited business rate prices and eliminating National Insurance contributions for under 21-year olds.

On Thursday 5 December 2013, the Chancellor published this year’s Autumn Statement. Josh Peace, Managing Director of Ventas Central, says: “We are optimistic about the results. We were hoping that the government would provide more support for small firms in the UK in order to enhance economic growth.” The Chancellor has announced that business rates would be limited to 2% in England next year instead of being linked to inflation. Furthermore, business rate relief for small businesses are going to be extended until April 2015. In addition to limited business rates, business owners can look forward to a break from National Insurance contributions when employing younger workers until the age of 21. At present the age limit is 16. This is going to be one of the most expensive measures for the Treasury, costing £465 million in 2015-16 (bbc.co.uk).

Josh Peace of Ventas Central is relieved that the government recognises the importance of small businesses for Britain’s recovery and their impact on continuous economic growth. “It is crucial for small business owners that they feel supported by the government,” explains Josh Peace who acts as a mentor to budding entrepreneurs. In fact, throughout 2013, small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) accounted for 99.9% of all private sector businesses in Britain. There were an estimated 4.9 million firms in the UK which employed 24.3 million people and produced a combined turnover of £3,300 billion (fsb.org.uk).

National Chairman of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), John Allan, states: “Action on business rates was the top priority for our members, and the Chancellor has addressed some of their concerns in the Autumn Statement. Too many businesses suffer from yearly price rises so capping business rates increases is a welcome measure. With around 300,000 firms relying on 100% rates relief, extending the doubling of small business rates relief will be welcomed by many” (fsb.org.uk).

Changing National Insurance contributions may also be a great relief for many businesses. “With the current high unemployment rate for young people, this measure will encourage more business owners to provide opportunities for younger Brits,” says Josh Peace of Ventas Central.

Ventas Central believe that the newly published Autumn Statement is a good start for continuous support for small businesses. The outsourced sales and marketing firm has offices in Central London and the Greater London area and due to their ongoing success the firm has been asked by their clients to expand into further markets in Q1 of 2014. Josh Peace is a mentor and entrepreneur, and provides advice and guidance to small business owners and self-employed people. “The more support entrepreneurs have, the more confident and knowledgeable they feel when starting their own company. All of which is the better for the UK’s economy,” summarises Josh Peace.

According to an article posted on Marketing Week in October 2013, the ASA are trying to crack down on online adverts. Ventas Central insist that many businesses return to more traditional direct marketing tools as they are straight forward and enhance customer relationships.

New research undertaken by the ASA, the Advertising Standards Authority, reveals that 77% of companies that signed up to self-regulation could potentially be found in breach of transparency rules (marketingweek.co.uk). Josh Peace, Managing Director of Ventas Central, says: “Online advertisements need to become simpler and more transparent. There needs to be an easy way to opt out.” Ventas Central believe the increased demand for direct marketing campaigns is directly linked to the issues many brands face with online marketing communications.

Between February and June this year, the ASA has received 77 complaints, most of which related to the inability to opt out of online advertising (marketingweek.co.uk). Josh Peace of Ventas Central says: “Businesses want processes to be simple. There are so many things marketers have to focus on, such as advertising tools, budget, ROI and so on, so they are looking for a simple, honest and transparent way to do their advertising.”

Unfortunately, it is difficult for the ASA to gain enough information to pursue complaints against some individual adverts or company to effectively enforce the rules. It is an extraordinarily complex and fast-moving area and the volume of online behavioural adverts means that no regulator could ever do more than scratching the surface (marketingweek.co.uk). “Direct marketing however is simple and produces immediate results. It is completely transparent as consumers have the chance to speak to someone directly and have all their questions answered,” explains Josh Peace of Ventas Central. “Direct marketing reduces the number of complaints and allows businesses to concentrate on the actual marketing part instead of trying to find a way through the complicated online advertising jungle,” Josh Peace continues.

Ventas Central is an outsourced direct marketing firm based in the heart of Islington, in North London. “Transparency and customer satisfaction are our main priorities,” says Managing Director Josh Peace. The firm has seen an increase in demand for more direct forms of marketing. “Our clients do not just appreciate that they only pay us for delivered results, but they love the closeness to the consumer and the feedback we can pass on to them within the same day,” adds Josh Peace. Ventas Central have generated nearly 21,000 customers for their clients only this year and are planning to expand into further markets by 2014.

<![CDATA[ Ventas Central Challenges DMA’s Study into Direct Marketing’s Emerging Trend ]]> https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-challenges-dmas-study-into-direct-marketings-emerging-trend-6726e5a2fe856eba4683ff48e50d53b0/ https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-challenges-dmas-study-into-direct-marketings-emerging-trend-6726e5a2fe856eba4683ff48e50d53b0/ Monday 11 November, 2013
Ventas Central queries the Direct Marketing Association’s (DMA) claim that “direct marketing is shifting from response to engagement.” The North London sales and marketing company believes that the need for return on investment in marketing is becoming ever more prominent.

The claim was announced at the launch event for the shortlist of the 2013 DMA awards on the 22nd October. The statement was made by the DMA Awards host Mark Runacus based on the content of the award's entries, which revealed a swing towards engagement based marketing. Marketers, according to the DMA, are “replacing traditional brand-building activities with pure direct engagement activity.” Additionally, a US study by the CMO Council reveals that 61% of marketing agencies are re-allocating budgets from direct response to branding initiatives. Ventas Central accepts the popularity of engagement media, but questions the wisdom of abandoning results-based marketing.

Direct response marketing is designed to gain an instant response from consumers, enabling consumer response and purchase to be attributed to individual promotions or adverts. Direct response forms of marketing can include mail order, TV adverts or ‘infomercials’ that involve directly contacting the supplier, certain online adverts, and face-to-face sales and promotions, which show consumer interest and purchasing decisions immediately. Engagement marketing is designed to encourage consumer participation in the brand and its evolution, with the aim to build strong relationships between the brand and consumers. Social media and viral marketing are examples of engagement marketing. Ventas Central MD Josh Peace says: “I agree that engagement with consumers is important and that it is largely what direct marketing is all about, however to suggest that response rate and producing real results are less important is difficult to believe.”

Ventas Central proposes that the popularity of engagement marketing may be overlooking the need for results-driven campaigns. The Fournaise Marketing Group 2013 Global Marketing Effectiveness Program reveals that 78% of CEOs have lost faith in marketers’ ability to deliver performance driven results, an increase of 8% on last year’s report. 76% of CEOs also felt that marketing agencies talked too much about creativity and were unable to demonstrate a quantifiable impact that their work has made on business results. 72% said that agencies were less driven by science and data than they had previously expected.

Ventas Central MD Josh Peace believes that there needs to be a balance between engagement and response-driven marketing. “We understand that brand engagement is an important part of creating brand image and loyalty; however marketers must not forget that clients hire them to increase their profits. Response-driven marketing is essential to determining a campaign’s effectiveness and should be a key component of any marketing strategy.”

Ventas Central is an outsourced sales and marketing company which specialises in face to face client representation. The firm prides itself on its strong ROI achieved through results-driven campaigns.

<![CDATA[ Ventas Central Target the North of England as Potential New Market ]]> https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-target-the-north-of-england-as-potential-new-market-dfd17ab94b0e03513a86a66a164b6288/ https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-target-the-north-of-england-as-potential-new-market-dfd17ab94b0e03513a86a66a164b6288/ Tuesday 6 August, 2013
Event sales and marketing firm, Ventas Central announce plans to invest in market research to aid their expansion into the North of England.

Ventas Central plan to test marketing campaigns in the North of England over the next 3 months before deciding which city is best for their expansion into the North. The research will include travelling to towns, starting with Northumberland, Westmorland, Durham, Newcastle and Sunderland.

Josh Peace Managing Director for Ventas Central has successfully expanded his business model into 12 UK markets to date and has stated that, “by spending time in these towns in the North of England prior to potentially expanding into these regions we aim to gain an understanding of which elements influence consumer buying decisions, how competitive these markets are and how much demand there is for the event services we supply.”

Effective market research can reduce unnecessary expenditures, by understanding the audience and launching market campaigns that are more appealing to customers based on their individual needs. ‘Location can play an important role in marketing. Behaviours definitely differ by county so by running some test campaigns in various towns we can get a clear picture of which sales and promotional tactics work best in each individual town,’ states Josh Peace of Ventas Central.

The North of England is currently a great place to expand a business. The Rural Development Programme for England have set up the Small Business Growth Fund, a grant designed to boost enterprise and small business growth across much of rural Northumberland, County Durham and Gateshead. The ‘Small Business Growth Fund’ complements other support available in the North for Entrepreneurs and is seeking to support over 30 micro enterprises in 2013.

<![CDATA[ Ventas Central Releases 3 Step Guide to Small Business Success ]]> https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-releases-3-step-guide-to-small-business-success-7e5564a323e64c039c2a0a512a06fbf8/ https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-releases-3-step-guide-to-small-business-success-7e5564a323e64c039c2a0a512a06fbf8/ Wednesday 3 July, 2013
Chelmsford-based outsourced marketing and sales firm Ventas Central has released a 3-step guide to success for small business owners. The firm celebrated an 18% increase in sales in the first quarter of the year, and is on track to achieving similar success in quarter 2.

A spokesperson for Ventas Central explained: “We decided to release the guide as we feel that our success has largely come from having strong foundations and systems in place. We are concerned about aspiring entrepreneurs who dive in without a solid business plan. The ‘make it up as you go along’ plan may work for a small handful of businesses, but for most this is a recipe for failure.”

Ventas Central has outlined 3 key areas of small business planning which the firm’s director believes have contributed the most to their success:

Differentiation

Michael E Porter, Harvard professor and author of management book Competitive Strategy, advises business owners not to compete with rivals in the same sector, but instead to ‘compete by being unique’. Ventas Central has a clear USP which is valued in a broad range of markets. The company specialises in direct customer acquisition through face-to-face interactions with customers, usually in places of business, private residences or commercial areas. “There is nothing particularly unique about face-to-face marketing; it is a service every business needs to increase its brand value and customer base. Ventas Central differentiates itself by the standard of professionalism exhibited by our representatives, and by our guarantee to clients that they only need pay on satisfactory delivery of customers,” said a Ventas Central spokesperson.

Management

Ventas Central attributes its success during difficult economic times – the firm has evolved and grown through the most recent world recession – to a strong and effective management team who are able to respond quickly to changing market conditions. A Ventas Central spokesperson reported: “A key strength of our management force is their adaptability. The management team is constantly asking questions and seeking feedback from suppliers, employees, customers and clients in an effort to improve business processes.” Ventas Central’s management ethos echoes with David Hahn, vice-president of product management at LinkedIn, who was quoted in Entrepreneur magazine as saying: "A big part of leadership and a big part of being a disciplined manager is being able to ask really great questions."

Market Knowledge

Ventas Central has a clear understanding and unprecedented local knowledge of the customers it serves and the markets it operates in. The smooth operation of a business requires an understanding of local and national law and compliance, customer expectations and market supply and demand - areas in which Ventas Central has strong expertise. The firm aims to expand into new markets both in the UK and overseas within the next 18 months. “Ventas Central’s success in Q1 of 2013 was helped by our extensive knowledge of the market and local customer buying behaviours. We will endeavour to replicate this as we expand the company into new markets,” said a source from Ventas Central.

Ventas Central is based in Chelmsford, Essex and provides outsourced marketing services for clients in the telecommunications, charity, media, finance, and cosmetics industries.

<![CDATA[ Ventas Central Supports Entrepreneur Referendum to Remain in the European Union ]]> https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-supports-entrepreneur-referendum-to-remain-in-the-european-union-57a1204a59b96fa61f2c7e595a8f5da0/ https://pressat.co.uk/releases/ventas-central-supports-entrepreneur-referendum-to-remain-in-the-european-union-57a1204a59b96fa61f2c7e595a8f5da0/ Tuesday 11 June, 2013
Entrepreneur and small business owner of Ventas Central, Josh Peace advocates that remaining part of the EU is essential for the UK’s economic recovery and for small businesses to continue to grow to become the future face of the UK and European economy.

A letter recently published in The Independent and signed by the UK’s top businessmen and successful entrepreneurs, highlights that Britain’s economic interest would be best served if the country maintained their place within the European Union. Managing Director of Ventas Central, an outsourced sales and marketing firm based in Chelmsford strongly believes remaining part of the EU is essential for the UK’s economic recovery and for small businesses to continue to grow and support the UK’s economy.

About Ventas Central: http://www.ventascentral.com

The letter in The Independent draws attention to the growing concerns in The City that there is a large anti-European feeling held in the UK Government. The fear held by the business community is that if Britain was to leave the European Union, then the impacts this would have on the UK’s economy would be substantial. EU membership is currently worth between £31bn and £92bn a year in income gains to the UK with the European Union consisting of an economic zone larger than that of the USA and Japan combined; with a total GDP of about £11 trillion. “Our EU membership is worth up to £92 billion a year to the UK economy and a move away from the EU would make it more difficult to trade with businesses in Europe, which would have serious knock on effects to the county’s economy as a whole” said Josh Peace, Managing Director of Ventas Central.

The single European market has bought an end to many of the non-tariff barriers to trade that used to be in place in Europe. This is critical for UK businesses. As a Member State of the EU, the UK is part of the procedure for making rules and regulations for the single market. Were the UK to leave the EU but join the European Economic Area (assuming the UK were admitted), Britain would be bound by most single market rules however would have no part to play in making the decisions of these rules.

For small businesses like Ventas Central, membership in the EU is beneficial because the European Investment Bank Group provides funding and start-up loans to support new productive investments. Both Britain and the EU are looking more heavily towards small businesses to help European economic recovery. If the UK was to leave the EU, then small start up businesses would not be entitled to this funding and there would be more pressure put on the UK Government to provide this.

“At Ventas Central, we maintain that small businesses are the future face of the UK and Europe as the key to economic recovery. It would be disastrous for the economy and future economic growth if Britain were to leave the EU” said a spokes person for the firm. “Here at the firm, we hope this letter in The Independent will highlight the importance of our membership to the EU and that it will be listened to and taken on board” added a spokes person for Ventas Central.

<![CDATA[ Company Culture Credited by Ventas Central for Killer Growth Last Quarter ]]> https://pressat.co.uk/releases/company-culture-credited-by-ventas-central-for-killer-growth-last-quarter-4f9111bec7d158fbc70f7b600efee87c/ https://pressat.co.uk/releases/company-culture-credited-by-ventas-central-for-killer-growth-last-quarter-4f9111bec7d158fbc70f7b600efee87c/ Monday 20 May, 2013
Ventas Central announces an 18% growth in sales last quarter, and credits their increasing demand of outsourced services responsible for the boost in revenue.

Ventas Central is an outsourced specialist firm based in Chelmsford, Essex, who uses direct forms of marketing to increase customer acquisitions. The firm’s figures from the last 12 months display an increased demand for outsourcing, with last quarter confirming an 18% growth within the company. A report on Freelancer.co.uk revealed the UK as the second largest outsourcing market in the world, so it’s credible that Ventas Central’s outsourcing services in sales and marketing were responsible for the company’s boost in revenue.

Managing Director Josh Peace at the Essex based outsourced firm claims company culture is vital when it comes to rapid business growth; it could either make or break a company. Company culture is the shared values, practices, ethics, goals that define what a company is like to work for. Josh Peace states how company culture must be positive and a clear vision must be instilled in all sectors of the business. It’s an essential factor to consider, especially for small businesses or start-up companies. Any smart business strategy needs skilled and motivated people in order to gain successful results, and so a positive company culture should be implemented throughout a company. (http://www.entrepreneur.com/article/225851#ixzz2THPuVtmN)

Company culture adds significant benefits to the corporate environment, and contributes greatly to the success of a company. By creating an environment where individuals value their work and are able to learn and grow, this will attract the most talented people. These new and well suited individuals will then contribute to the development of improving company culture in the future.

So what is it that makes a great company culture? Josh Peace at Ventas Central states, ‘Make sure that your brand is something worth being proud of. It is impossible to develop loyalty and instill a feeling of adoration for a brand that is not loved by those representing it.’

Businesses like Ventas Central who display brand transparency are more likely to gain a greater respect from clients and be able to interact with them on a personal level. The outsourced firm in Chelmsford are passionate about exposing potential new customers to products and services in a way that will resonate them.
